SPAIN'S LUNA SOBRON IN LAST EIGHT OF AUSSIE AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP

Defending champion Minjee Lee (West Australia) stormed into the quarter finals with another dominant performance, defeating Hannah Green (West Australia) 5 and 4 in the Australian women's international amateur championship at The Grange Golf Club, Adelaide.
Lee will now face fellow Western Australian and Oklahoma State college player Jayde Panos who defeated Celina Yuan (New South Wales) 3 and 2 to book her quarter finals spot.
Spain's Luna Sobron, who was runner-up at the Women's British Amateur at Machynys last June, continued her impressive form with a 3 and 2 win over Ellen-Davies Graham (Queensland). 

Sobron (pictured by Cal Carson Golf Agency) will now play Shelly Shin (New South Wales) who defeated Cassidy Evreniadis (South Australia) by one hole.
Victorian Su-Hyun Oh and 2013 runner-up Jenny Lee (South Australia) will face off in the other quarter final while Chantelle Cassidy (New Zealand) will play Karis Davidson (Queensland). Davidson beat Alyssa Keir (West Australia) 3 and 2 in the second round.
