MEGHAN MacLAREN T14th IN 2014 OPENER

GB and I Curtis Cup team place contender Meghan MacLaren (Wellingborough), a sophomore student at Florida International University, finished T14 in her first tournament of 2014 on the US women's college golf circuit at Black Diamond Ranch, Lecanto in Florida.

Meghan, pictured, a winner three times in her freshman year, had rounds of 77 and 71 for 149, seven shots behind the winner, Alex Milan (Florida State).
Meghan's team-mate, Sophie Godley, a sophomore from Worksop, finished 33rd in a field of 43 with scores of 77 and 78 for 155.
