EMILY AIRD MAKES TOP 30 IN LADY
RATTLER INVITATIONAL IN TEXAS
Perth's Emily Aird, a freshman student at Newman University, Wichitaw in Kansas, finished T29 in a field of 93 players at the Lady Rattler Invitational college tournament at Dominion Country Club, San Antonio in Texas.
Emily, pictured, had rounds of 83 and 78 for 161.
Team-mate Alex Patton, a freshman from Chippenham, shot 84-82 for 166.
Winner by a staggering nine shots after a brilliant second-round 64 (13 shots better than her first round) was Haley Haught (St Edwards University).
St Edwards (599) won the team title ahead of Tarleton State (618). Newman finished 12th on 657
