This will be the first year of the new format - Two rounds on the Saturday over the New Course, St Andrews, followed by one round on Sunday morning over the Old Course, St Andrews.
In previous years, there has been one round on the Saturday and two on the Sunday but this led to evening finishes and made it difficult for players who had travelled from afair to get back home on the Sunday.
The field is limited to 60 players who will play all three rounds.
