Anglo-Scot Alasdair Dalgleish (Oklahoma Christian), a senior year student from West Sussex, finished jt 12th in a field of 90 at the Midwestern State Invitational at Wichita Falls Country Club, Wichita Falls, Texas.
Alasdair, pictured above, had rounds of 77, 71 and 75 for 223 over a par-71 course of 6,8724yd. He finished 10 shots behind the winner by three, Derek Oland (Midwesern), 70-70-73 for level par 213..
Western New Mexico students Harry Wetton, a freshman from Bedford, Ben Skinner, a sophomore from Herts and Loretto College, Musselburgh, and Thomas Neve, a sophomore from Epsom, finished 16th, T21 and T32 respectively.
Harry had scores of 75-78-72 for 225; Ben 76-80-72 for 228 and Thomas 71-73-87 for 231.
St Edwards (870) won the team title ahead of Midwestern State (886). Western New Mexico (895) finished fourth and Oklahoma Christian (911) sixth of 15 teams.
BOLTON 25th IN LIONS CLASSIC
James Bolton (Newman), a sophomore student from Bury, finished 25th in a field of 60 players at the Lions Classic at Hardscrabble Country Club, Fort Smith, Arkansas
James, pictured left, had scores of 79 and 77 for 156 - 10 strokes behind the joint winners by one, Dylan Lovell (Arkansas-Fort Smith (70-76) and Charles Mommaerts (Newman) 74-72).
Newman finished joint sixth of ll teams behind winners Cameron University.
