FRANCE WIN WOMEN'S EUROPEAN NATIONS CUP, DANISH GIRL INDIVIDUAL TITLE
DISAPPOINTMENT FOR ENGLAND AND
ANNABEL DIMMOCK AT SOTOGRANDE
England and Annabel Dimmock, team and individual leaders at one stage of the European Nations Cup tournament at Sotogrande, Spain, faded over the final two rounds of the 72-hole stroke-play event.
France won the title with a total of 595 - three strokes ahead of Spain (598), with Denmark (606) third and England (607) out of the medals in fourth place.
Wales finished eighth of 11 on 623.
The individual title was won by Nanna Madsen (Denmark) with scores of 76, 71, 73 and 74 for 294. She won by three shots from Switzerland's Albane Valenzuela.
Wentworth 17-year-old Annabel Dimmock finished fifth on 301 with scores of 73, 68, 79 and 81.
Scotland and Ireland did not enter women's teams.
