LADIES EUROPEAN TOUR REPORT AND SCORES

VIKKI SET FOR GOOD FINISH IN MOROCCO

Vikki Laing is heading for another top 20 finish as she maintains her improved form this year in the Ladies European Tour's Lalla Meryem Cup tournament at Golf de L'Ocean Golf Club, Agadir on Morocco's breezy Atlantic coastline.
The Musselburgh player shot a third-round 69 after scores of 70 and 71 and her tally of three-under-210 over the par-71 course has her sharing 16th place, eight shots behind the French leader, Gwladys Nocera (65 for 202), with one round to go.
Laing had four birdies and two bogeys in an outward half of two-under-par 34 and held on
to what she had with nine straight pars after
the turn.
Edinburgh-born Sally Watson, a rookie on the LET, is sharing 41st place after scores of 72, 71 and 71 for 214. She looked set to break 70 when she had an eagle 3 at the long second and a birdie 2 at the short seventh and was still three under par for the day with five holes to play.
But her round kind of unravelled down the home straight. She bogeyed the 14th, had a double bogey 6 at the 16th, recovered a bit with a birdie at the 17th but then bogeyed the short 18th for contrasting halves of three-under 33 and three-over 38.
Glasgow's Kylie Walker had her best round of the week, a 70 for 215 and joint 48th place. She had four birdies, three of them in an inward 33.
Heather MacRae (Gleneagles) dropped down the leaderboard, slumping from a second-round 68 to a four-over 75 for 216 and joint 55t place.
MacRae birdied the fourth and fifth after a  bogey at the third but then scattered shots at the sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth and 16th in halves of 39-36.
Pamela Feggans (Doon Valley) is on the bottom rung of whose who survived the halfway cut. A 75 for 220 has her in joint 64th place.
