MORE TOURNAMENT NEWS FROM US COLLEGE CIRCUIT

KEDDIE RUNNER-UP IN TENNESSEE


Danny Keddie (Tennessee University), a senior year student from Lincoln, finished second in a field of 74 players at the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate 54-hole tournament at River Course, Sevierville, Tennessee on March 17-18.
Over a par-72 course of 6,884yd, Danny, pictured above, shot 66, 76 and 71 for three-under 213 - three behind his Australian team-mate Oliver Goss who had scores of 71,66 and 73 for 210.
Tennessee won the team title from a field of 12 squads.
 FARRER SIXTH AT CUSCOWILLA


Mitch Farrer (Nova Southeastern), a senior student from West Sussex, finished sixth in a field of 93 players at the Bobcat Invitational played over the Golf Club @ Cuscowilla course (par 70, 6847yd) at Eatonton, Georgia.
Farrer shot 73-71 for 144, five shots behind the winner by three, Adam Svennson (Barry University) (72-67 for one-under 139).
Kyle Godsman (South Carolina-Aiken), a senior student from Hopeman, Morayshire in cotland, finished T12 with rounds of 76-72 for 148.
Rob Prior (Lander University), a third-year student from Surrey) finished T20 with scores of 77 and 73 for 150. Also on that mark was Ryan Haskell (Clayton State University, Atlanta), a third-year student from Newport, Wales with rounds of 77 and 73.
Jordan Ainley (Lander) had rounds of 78-73 for 152 and was placed T26.
Keith Egan (Clayton State), a sophomore from Newbridge, Ireland, came T54 on 156 (82-74).
Kyle Godsman's effort help South Carolina-Aiken win the team title with a total of 591, three ahead of Barry and four in front of third-placed Nova Southeastern. Clayton State (596) finished fourth of 17 teams.

EARNSHAW T6 IN NORTH CAROLINA

Ross Earnshaw (Post University, Connecticut), a senior from York, finished joint sixth in a field of 44 at the Barton Intercollegiate at Wilson Country  Club, North Carolina.

Earnshaw, pictured left,  totalled 152. seven behind the winner by two, Nicolas Fonseca (Barton), 72-73 for 145 over a par-72 courese of 6,851yd.
Barton won the team title with Post last of six.






SCOT JT SIXTH IN NORTH CAROLINA 

George Duncan (Lincoln Memorial University), a freshman from Dunbartonshire, finished joint sixth in a field of 68 at the Hargett Memorial Pinehurst Challenge at the National Golf Club, Pinehurst in North Carolina.

Over a par-72 course of 6,632, Duncan (pictured right) shot rounds of 74-75 for 149 - three behind the winner by one, Benedict Gebhardt (Wingate) (71-75 for 146).
Queens University of Charleston (603) beat Lincoln Memorial (612) into second place in a field of 12 teams.
