SOMERSET FRESHMAN TIES FOR
VICTORY AT FLORENCE, KENTUCKY
Ian Clark from Somerset, a freshman student at Davis and Elkins College, West Virginia,tied with
Marcus Hunt (Findlay University) for victory on one-over-par 145 in the SVSU Spring Invitational college tournament at Boone Links GC, Florence, Kentucky on March 22-23
Clark, pictured, had scores of 72 and 73, the reverse of that achieved by Hunt.
Another Davis and Elkins student Alistair Cameron, a freshman from Buckinghamshire, finished T36 in a field of 70 players.
He scored 79-80 for 159.
Grand Valley (600) won the team title. Davis and Elkins (620) finished sixth of 11.
