GEMMA, OLIVIA IN TULANE VICTORY
OVER DENVER AT NEW ORLEANS
British women's open amateur stroke-play championship runner-up at Prestwick last autumn, Aberdeen-born Gemma Dryburgh (pictured above at Prestwick by Cal Carson Golf Agency) and Tulane University, New Orleans team-mate Olivia Winning from Rotherham, last year's winner of the "Helen Holm" at Troon, were on the winning team in 290-298 victory over Denver University in a six-a-side stroke-play match at Lakewood Country Club, New Orelans on March 19.
Gemma scored a 74, three behind the best score of the day, by Tulane team-mate Madison Opfer over a 6,321yd course.
Olivia (pictured right) had a 78.
Edinburgh's Scotland cap, Rachael Watton (Denver) returned a 75.
