Liam Johnston, won the bragging rights among team-mates at Tennessee-Chattanooga
JOHNSTON TIES FOR 13th IN

Liam Johnston from Dumfries, a junior (third year) student at Tennessee-Chattanooga University, finished ahead of team-mates Ewan Scott, a freshman from St Andrews, and Banchory's Chris Robb who is coming up to the end of his four years
in American, in the quaintly-named Linger Longer Invitational college tournament at Great Waters Golf Club, Greensboro, Georgia (March 22-23)
Liam had rounds of 68, 75 and 72 for a one-under-par total of 215 over a 7,073yd course.
In a field of 84 players, Johnston finished T13, eight shots behind the title play-off participants, Michael Cromie (Georgia) (71-67-69) who birdied the first extra hole to beat Robby Shelton (Alabama) (69-66-72). They had finished three shots clear of the field on nine-under 207.
Scott shot 70-72-76 for 218 and a T23 placing.
Robb had rounds of 74, 72 and 69 for 225, finshing T45 alongside Englishman Ryan Pope (South Alabama), a freshman student from Exmouth. Pope had scores of 69, 77 and 79.
Georgia (837) won the team title ahead of Alabama (847) with South Alabama (875) seventh and Chattanooga (878) eighth in a field of 15 teams.

Final Results
Columbia, Missouri— The 2014 Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate concluded Tuesday with Mizzou Men’s Golf finishing in seventh place at Bulls Gay Golf Club, Awendaw, South Carolina.
The Tigers used a first-round lead to finish in the top half of the field. They were four-over-par for the tournament and four-under-par as a team on Tuesday, finishing just behind ranked No 36 Kentucky and No. 39 Wake Forest.
Two Southeastern Conference teams finished in the top two spots. No. 30 Auburn (-12) took home the tournament title, while No. 24 South Carolina (-9) finished second.
Euan Walker, pictured above, was the top finisher for the Tigers at Hootie. The freshman (-2) from Troon, Scotland, had his best outing of the spring as he played consistently for the entirety of the tournament and tied for 11th place in a field of 75 players.
The Scot had scores of 69, 74 and 71 for a two-under-par total of 214 over a course of 7,280yd
Another Scot in the field at Bulls Bay was Kyle Godsman from Hopeman, a final-year student at South Carolina-Aiken.
Kyle shot a brilliant last-round 68 after earlier rounds of 78 and 79. He finished on 225 and T46 position.
Next
up for the Tigers is a trip to Columbus, Ohio, where they will
participate in the Robert Kepler Invitational, April 12-13.

We should mention that the winner of the Hootie @ Bulls Bay Intercollegiate (March 23-25) was an Englishman - Ben Stow, a junior year student at Kentucky University.
Ben, pictured, with rounds of 69, 73 and 67 tied with Niclas Carlsson (Auburn) (70-73-66) on seven-under-par 209 at the head of a field of 75 players.
Stow, who comes from Salisbury, won the sudden-death play-off at the first hole for his first victory on the US college circuit.
