ROUND-UP OF PRODREAMUSA SUCCESSES
BRITS MAKING THEIR MARK ON US
COLLEGE GOLF CIRCUIT
FROM LORNE KELLY
ProdreamUSA
A number of US coaches have recently informed us of how our players have been doing.
Well done ProdreamUSA’s Mark Geddes (Grand Canyon University) on his T12 finish at the
Del Walker Intercollegiate 18th Golf Classic.
Mark finished level par with scores of 72, 67 and 71 over the
Virginia Country Club course.
Three
ProdreamUSA’s players from Western New Mexico University, Ben Skinner,
Harry Wetton and Thomas Neve, all featured at the St Edward’s
Invitational at Grey Rock Golf Club.
Ben finished T3 on (+1 par) with
scores of 75 and 70, Harry finished
(+2 par) T8 with 77, 69 and Thomas (+7 par) T30 with 77, 74. The boys
and their team mates finished 3rd overall in the team standings.
ProdreamUSA’s Ewan Scott finished T14 with scores of 75, 71 and 73 at the
SMU Querencia Cabo Collegiate tournament over the
Los Cabos Querencia course in Mexico. His Prodream team mates Chris Robb and Liam Johnston finished T38 and T58.
Another
ProdreamUSA player to feature this week was De Paul University’s
Jonathan Hewett. Jonathan finished T22 with great scores of 72, 73 and
68 (-3 par) at the USF Invitational 2014
Lake
Jovita Golf and Country Club. The course is 7153 yards long, so it
just goes to show how good the golf standard is at USA College golf
level.
ProdreamUSA’s
Calum Hill (University of Louisiana-Monroe) finished T6 at the Argent
Financial Classic, Squire Creek CC, Choudrant, Louisiana. Calum’s scores were
70, 76.
Well
done to ProdreamUSA’s Nick Ward (Georgia Southwestern) on his T3rd
place finish at the Doublegate Collegiate Invitational, Doublegate CC,
Albany GA. Nick’s scores 76, 72 and 75 also helped secured a 4th place finish in the team standings.
ProdreamUSA's
Ryan Pope features again on our page again this week after his T16
place at the Samford Intercollegiate tournament, Hoover CC, Hoover, Alabama.
Great individual performances from Prodream’s Louis Hirst and Sam McCarthy (Northwood University Florida) who finished 2nd and 3rd at the Harmony Golf Preserve Intercollegiate Tournament, Harmony, Florida.
Louis had scores
of 70, 69 and 70 (-7 par) for 2nd and Sam’s 71, 72, and 69 (-4 par) for 3rd. Great scoring guys on this 7208 yard par 72 course. The boys helped Northwood finish T1st as a team.
On
another note, ProdreamUSA will shortly be sending out a press release,
listing all our departing players (Fall 2014) and the universities they
have chosen to go to. These are very exciting times for
the UK's leading US golf scholarship consultants.
