ANNABEL DIMMOCK THROUGH TO 

LAST 4 IN SPANISH WOMEN'S AMATEUR

Annabel Dimmock (Wentworth), after her

successes on the Florida Orange Blossom Tour in January, has further boosted her Curtis Cup GB and I team selection hopes by reaching the last four of the Spanish women's amateur championship at El Saler Golf Club.
The England international, 20th of the 32 match-play qualifiers, bt the 28th qualifier, D Weber (Netherlands) at the 19th in this morning's quarter-finals.
Alexandra Peters (Notts Ladies) was beaten in the quarter-finals. She went down by 5 and 4 top the No 2 seed Linnea Strom (Sweden).
Chloe Ryan (Ireland), the No 8 seed, lost at the 19th in her quarter-final to the 16th qualifier, A Herbaut (France).
