HANNAH LEADS THE WAY FOR EMBRY
RIDDLE AT LPGA INTERNATIONAL
Scotscraig Golf Club member Hannah Robb, pictured, a sophomore student at Embry Riddle Aeoronautical University, Florida, had the lowest individual score of four-over-par 77 in a field of 13 players for the Embry Riddle versus Olivet Nazarene University match over the long and testing LPGA International course at Daytona Beach in Florida.
Hannah is a Perthshire and Kinross county player who used to live in Perth.
Team-mate Sophie Olley, a junior from Leeds, finished fourth with an 80.
Embry Riddle won the match by an overwhelming margin, 314 to 372.
TIFFANY MAKES TOP TWENTY IN UTAH
Tiffany Hewetson (Grand Canyon), a final year student from Brighton, finished T20 in a field of 71 players at the SUU Invitational at Sun Brook Golf Club, St George in Utah.
Over a par-72 course of 6,011yd, Tiffany, pictured, had rounds of 83 and 76 for 159.
Winner by four with a one-over-par total of 145 (72-73) was Marissa Borja (Eastern Washington).
Oral Roberts and Weber State tied for team honours on 615. Grand Canyon (619) finished fourth of 12.
SIAN MAKES TOP 10 IN LADY JAGUAR
Former Kent county champion Sian Evans (East Tennessee State), a final year student from Gillingham, finished joint eighth in a field of 75 players at the Lady Jaguar Intercollegiate over a par-72 course of 6,214yd at Forest Hills Golf Club, Augusta, Georgia.
Sian, pictured above, had rounds of 74, 75 and 76 for 225 - eight shots behind the winner by four, Lacey Fears (Mercer University) (73-70-74 for one-over 217)
East Tennessee State (911) finished fourth of 14 in the team event won by Vanderbilt (896).
MELISSA T13 AT EAGLE LANDING
Melissa Siviter (Georgia State), a senior student from Coseley in the West Midlands, finished T13 in a field of 93 players at the JMU Eagle Landing Invite tournament at Eagle Landing Golf Club, Orange Park in Florida.
Melissa, pictured, scored 75, 70 and 78 for 223 - eight shots behind the winner by three, Tiffany Chan (Daytona State) (73-71-71 for 215)
Georgia State (896) finished runners-up to team title winners Elon University (892) in a field of 16 squads.
