FORT WILLIAM STUDENT'S SEVENTH
PLACE FINISH AT CROOKED CREEK
Alasdair Ross from Fort William , a freshman student at Union College , Barbourville , Kentucky,
finished seventh in a field of 58 players at the 22nd SEKI collegiate tournament at Crooked Creek Golf Club, London, Kentucky (March 24-25).
Ross had two rounds of 77 on the first day and a one-over 73 on the second for an aggregate of 227 - 10 strokes behind the winner by three, Viktor Madsen (Cumberlands) who shot 71-70-76 for 217.
Union College team-mate Andy Dusek, a freshman from Woking, Surrey, finished joint 15th on 233 with scores of 75, 74 and 84.
Union College (926) tied for third place behind the team title winners, Cumberlands (Kentucky) with 893 ahead of runners-up Lindsey Wilson (917) i a field of nine teams.
