CHARLEY HULL WINS FIRST LET EVENT AFTER PLAY-OFF BIRDIE

 VIKKI LAING, SALLY WATSON FINISH

 JOINT LEADING SCOTS IN MOROCCO

Vikki Laing and rookie Sally Watson tied for top Scot honours on one-over-par 285 in the Lalla Meryem Cup Ladies European Tour 72-hole competition at Golf de L'Ocean, Agadir on Morocco's Atlantic coastline.
They finished joint 33rd, 16 shots behind young Charley Hull, who beat France's Gwladys Nocera with a birdie at the first hole of a sudden-death play-off to chalk up her first LET victory.
The Woburn youngster had caught Nocera over 72 holes with a brilliant final round of nine-under-par 62 to Nocera's closing 67 for 15-under 269.
Laing's hopes of another top-20 finish - boosted by a third-round 69 - were dashed by a double bogey 6 at the eight and a triple bogey 7 at the 16th. She also bogeyed the 18th.
The Musselburgh player had two triple bogeys and three double bogeys over the 72 holes.
She birdied the long second and short third in her closing round of four-over 75.
Watson had four steady rounds of 72, 71, 71 and 71. The Edinburgh-born player started at the 10th and dropped to four over for the round after bogeys at the 10th and 13th and a double bogey 6 at the first.
But she responded well by birdieing the long second, the short third, the fourth and long sixth to salvage a par round.
Heather MacRae had a 72 for joint 52nd place on 288. The Gleneagles player, starting at the 10th, bogeyed the 12th and then reeled off 15 successive par figures.
Kylie Walker had no birdies in a 77 for 292 and joint 62nd place. The Carrick on Loch Lomond Player started at the 10th and bogeyed the 14th, 15th, 17th and 18th, then the third and fifth.
Pamela Feggans (Doon Valley) also had a birdie-less round of 76 for 67th place on 296.
Feggans also started at the 10th and bogeyed the 13th, 14th and 16th before dropping two more shots holes one to nine.
