WIN SUNNINGDALE FOURSOMES
Curtis Cup team place contender Annabel Dimmock (Wentworth), 17, and former Walker Cup player Steve Brown, also from Wentworth and now a tour professional, today won the Sunningdale Foursomes.
Stephen, now playing on the Challenge Tour, sank the winning putt
for GB and I's Walker Cup win at Royal Aberdeen in 2011.
This afternoon Annabel sank a long putt on the 18th to beat another teenage girl and Wentworth member, Inci Mehmet. and her parner, Oscar Granstrom-Livesey (Royal Mid Surrey), to win the final by one hole.
Annabel and Stephen had a tough match in the morning semi-finals, winning at the 19th against England internationals Toby Tree and Marco Penge.
Carnoustie tour pro Katy McNicol (Panmure) and S Cipa (South Essex) were beaten in one of the earlier rounds.
