HIGHLANDER HANNAH SELECTED FOR

GB TEAM FOR WORLD UNIVERSITY GOLF

Stirling student Hannah McCook from Nethy Bridge and a member
of Grantown on Spey Golf Club, has been selected for the Great Britain
team to take part in the World university golf championships at Crans-Montana, Switzerland from June 23 to 27.
Stirling team-mate Eilidh Briggs is the non-travelling reserve to the
women's squad of three.
 
WOMEN

Hannah McCook (Stirling)
Ami Storey (Northumbria)
 
Non-travelling reserve:
Eilidh Briggs (Stirling)
Ami Storey from Ponteland Golf Club beat Hannah in a
play-off for the title at the recent BUCS Tour women's
championship final at Machynys Peninsula Golf Club in
South Wales.
Katie Bradbury finished a close-up third.

Tom Beasley (St Andrews)
 
Non-travelling reserve:
Henry Tomlinson (Stirling)

The men's line-up is subject to confirmation of availability.
Cormac Sharvin (Stirling) who won the BUCS Tour men's title is the
Irish amateur champion and not eligible to play for Britain.
The same goes for Swiss international Mathias Eggenberger
(Stirling) who finished third at Machynys.
