Two young Scottish students have been honoured by the Frontier Golf Conference in the United States.
Daniel Thompsett, pictured left, a former North-east District boys champion from Aboyne and a third-year student at Rocky Mountain College, Billings in Montana, has been named Frontier Conference Player of the Year for the 2013-2014 college golf season. He has won four times on the US college circuit but was unable to defend the Conference title this year because of an injury.
James Walkinshaw, pictured right, from Wishaw, a first-year student at Lewis Clark State University, Idaho, has been named Freshman of the Year for the whole of the Frontier Conference.
