Women's Golf  South Africa Centenary celebrations. Ladies Golf Union representatives present a Quaich to mark the occasion to WGSA president Cynthia Rayner.

Susan Simpson reports: Around 80 people played golf at Stellenbosch Golf Club in a blistering 37degrees. Then a Gala Dinner for 100+. A fantastic day very well organised.
Incidentally, the WGSA president is an overseas vice-president of the LGU and Teg played in the international touring team which played here in 1974. 
We had fun reading the old minute books which documented the trip. "The visitors wilted in the heat!"
