Friday evening's final of the Stirling and Clackmannan women's county golf championship at Stirling Golf Club promises to be a treat for the gallery.
It will feature Louise Macgregor (Glenbervie), champion for the last four year years, and former Curtis Cup player Alison Davidson (Stirling), winner of the championship six times since 1992.
In Wednesday night's semi-finals, Macgregor beat Laura Bisset (Braehead) at the 19th after being three down at the ninth. Laura won the first two holes and was three up at the turn.
Louise fought back to square the match with wins at the 10th, 11th and 12th.
Laura regained a two-hole lead by winning the 14th and 16th but Laura again rallied, winning the 17th, 18th and the 19th with a par.
In the other tie, Davidson played par golf to beat clubmate Elaine Allison 6 and 5.
