HOST NATION PLAYER LEADS WITH A TWO-UNDER-PAR 70
SCOTS TRAIL IN SWEDEN
The four Scots in the field are trailing by several strokes at the end of the first round in the Solvesborg Ladies Open in Sweden.
Home country player Emma Nilson took the lead with a two-under-par 70, a shot ahead of Rebecca Green (Australia) and Daisy Nielsen (Denmark).
Katy McNicoll and Gemma Webster headed the Scots effort with 77 apiece for a share of 45th place.
Laura Murray came off the boil after earning £2,500 in each of her last two tournament appearances. She had a 78 for joint 56th place.
Jane Turner brought up the rear for the Scots with a 79 for a share of 65th place.
