HAZLEHEAD PROSPECT FOLLOWS UP COUNTY HANDICAP TITLE SUCCESS

JASMINE MACKINTOSH WINS SHIRE

GIRLS' EVENT AT WINDY NEWMACHAR 

Jasmine Mackintosh, Hazlehead's up-and-coming prospect, scored another win in Aberdeenshire golf over Newmachar Golf Club's Swailend course today.
The 14-year-old six-handicapper won the Aberdeenshire women's county handicap championship recently.
In a testing, swirling wind at Newmachar, Jasmine had the lowest scratch score of 84 in the Aberdeenshire girls' monthly competition, winning by nine shots from Leah Smart (Rosehearty).
Carmen Griffiths (Aboyne) was third on 94.
Cara Rough (Banchory) won the top handicap prize with a net 68 off 35, a shot ahead of Lucy George who had a net 69 off 27.
Three players tied for third place with a net score of 78, Megan Robb (handicap 18), Jasmine Mackintosh (6) and Carmen Griffiths (16).
