STIRLING AND CLACKMANNAN COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP AT STIRLING
TITLE-HOLDER LOUISE THROUGH TO
SEMI-FINALS AFTER GOOD MATCH
Sixteen-year-old Jennifer Allan (Glenbervie) put in a promising performance to take the defending champion, clubmate Louise Macgregor, to the 18th hole before admitting defeat in the quarter-finals of the Stirling and Clackmannan women's county championship at Stirling Golf Club this evening.
In the semi-finals, Macgregor will play Laura Bisset (Braehead) who was two under par, with and eagle at the seventh, in winning by 5 and 4 against Linda Allan (Falkirk Tryst).
Host club members Elaine Allison and Alison Davidson both won their matches and will meet in the second semi-final.

Alison Davidson (Stirling) bt Claire Capocci (Bridge of Allan ) 3 and 2.
The semi-finals will be played on Wednesday from 5.30pm.
