Catriona Matthew from North Berwick and Woburn's Charley Hull tied for third place behind winner Jessica Korda in the Airbus LPGA Classic at the Crossings Course, Magnolia Grove, Mobile in Alabama on Sunday.
A third British player in the top 10 was Yorkshire's Jodi Ewart Shadoff who tied for seventh place.
Jessica Korda, with a final round of 65 for a 20 under par total of 268 won the $195,000 prize to become the third two-time winner on the LPGA Tour this year.
She won by a stroke from earlier tournament leader, Sweden's Anna Nordqvist who signed off with a 69 for 269 to win the $120,962 runner-up's reward.
Matthew shot 64-67-70-69 for 18-under-par 270; Hull 65-65-71-67 for the same aggregate. They each earned $70,089 as did the third player in joint third place, Michelle Wie (71-66-66-67).
Catriona, out in two-under 34, birdied the third, long sixth, ninth, long 13th, short 14th and long 16th. She bogeyed the seventh, 10th and 12th.
Charley birdied the fifth, seventh, 11th, 12th, short 14th, 15th and 16th. She bogeyed the short second and long 13th.

It was once again a stacked leaderboard at an LPGA event this year with an exciting fight to the finish, with eight players within four shots of Korda at the end.
Korda joins Nordqvist and Webb with two wins and said this win was a sweet one because she felt she hadn’t been playing up to her standards after Bahamas.
“I have not been playing well basically since I won in the Bahamas, and I'm still trying to work on the same swing thoughts that Grant and I have been working on. So for it to finally pay off here is really nice,” Korda said.
In 2013, Korda came up one stroke short of eventual champion Jennifer Johnson (-21) but this year, her  20-under total was good enough for a victory.
“My confidence just was rising every single day.” Korda said. I just love it here. I love Alabama, I love this golf course, and hopefully we’ll have this tournament for a very, very long time.”
The American's putts started dropping on the back nine with six birdies after she made the turn. It was just enough to hold off Nordqvist and Wie, Hull and  Matthew, all at 18-under, after what she deemed was a frustrating day on Saturday
"Saturday  was a little frustrating because I was always around the hole." Korda said. “Same thing actually on the front nine of the final round , watching (playing partner) Michelle make putt after putt after putt and mine were just kind of missing.
"Then they started dropping on the back nine. We had a great time out there."
GO LOW OR GO HOME
Lexi Thompson had a number in mind that she had to shoot in order to win the Airbus LPGA Classicand she ended up coming up short in the long run despite shooting a 6-under, including four birdies on the back nine.

“Coming into the day I knew I had to make tons of birdies and just fire at all the pins.” Thompson said.
“I knew I pretty much had to shoot about 10 under coming into today. It’s definitely doable but, you know, it was a fun day. I played really solid and just had a lot more fun out there today.”
Thompson has many supporters across Alabama, a fact that was not lost on her. She fed off their energy and felt the love as she and her group played today.
“My group had pretty good crowds the whole week, so it was very nice to see.” Thompson said. “I love my fans here.”
