3,000 SPECTATORS AT ST LOUIS CC, MISSOURI FINAL DAY
2014 CURTIS CUP ATTENDANCE: 6,500
We asked Christina Lance, the USGA Press Officer, how big the crowds were for the 38th Curtis Cup match at St Louis CC, Missouri.
Here is her reply:
"The club estimates that 6,500 people were in attendance over the three days. 3,000 enjoyed a beautiful final day on Sunday.
+From memory, there were roughly 9,000 spectators at the 2012 match at Nairn Golf Club.
The 2014 match at Dun Laoghaire GC, near Dublin is forecast to get close to that figure
