CATRIONA MATTHEW HAS BEST ROUND FOR SOME TIME

INBEE PARK'S 61 WINS HER $225,000

FIRST PRIZE IN LPGA CLASSIC

Inbee Park shot a brilliant 10-under-par 61 to win the Manulife Financial LPGA Classic by three strokes at Grey Silo golf course, Waterloo in Ontario Canada.
Park had a bogey-free round studded with 10 birdies for a 23-under-par total of 261, which won her $225,000.
Runner-up, three strokes behind was American Cristie Kerr, who closed with a 63 for 264 and won $13,903.
Long-time leader Shanshan Feng from China did not do badly in the final round but a score of 68 for 266 was not enough to hold Park and Kerr at bay.
Catriona Matthew had her best round for some time - a 65 for 273 which earned her a share of 15th place and a payslip for $19,638.
The Scot had a bogey-free scorecard, highlighted by an eagle 3 at the 18th. Earlier she had birdied the fifth, sixth, eighth and 10th.
