JANES REES ONE OFF PACE IN SPAIN

Wales' Jane Rees is one shot behind leader Maria De Orueta (Spain) after the first round of the European senior women's amateur championship at Royal Golf Club Puerta de Hierro near Madrid.
Jane shot a 75, one more than De Orueta.
Ireland's Sheena McElroy and Pat Doran shot 77 and 83 respectively.
There are no Scottish or English entries to the championship.
