GB AND IRELAND DOING BETTER IN LAST-DAY SINGLES

USA LEAD 9 1/2-2 1/2 BEFORE SINGLES

Stephanie Meadow and Georgia Hall halved their Saturday foursome which finished on Sunday morning local time against Ally McDonald and Mariah Stackhouse.
Ironically, Tegwen Matthew's team are doing far better in the singles than they have done in any other session so far in the three-day match.
Although they cannot hold on to the Curtis Cup, Bronte Law and Annabel Dimmock having lost the first two singles to finish, GB and I could still win more points in the eight-game singles session than they have from the first two days put together.

Here's the story so far:
Day 1    USA 5, GB and IRELAND 1
Four-balls USA 3, GB and Ireland 0
Foursomes USA 2, GB and Ireland 1

Day 2 USA 4 1/2, GB and IRELAND 1 1/2
Four-balls USA 2, GB and Ireland 1
Foursomes USA 2 1/2, GB and Ireland 1/2

AFTER TWO DAYS:
          USA 9 1/2, GB and IRELAND 2 1/2

FINAL DAY SINGLES (3-3 with 2 to finish)
USA names first
Emily Talley bt Bronte Law 4 and 3
Ally McDonald bt Annabel Dimmock 4 and 3
Kyung Kim lost to Georgia Hall 3 and 2.
Ashlan Ramsey lost to Gemma Dryburgh 1 hole.
Erynne Lee lost to Charlotte Thomas 2 holes.
