NORTH DIVISION WOMEN'S INTER-COUNTY TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP


ABERDEENSHIRE START WITH A WIN 

OVER P and K, ANGUS DRAW WITH

Northern COUNTIES AT PITLOCHRY

Title-holders Aberdeenshire made a solid start to the North Division women's inter-county three-day championship at Pitlochry Golf Club.
They beat hosts Perth and Kinross 5 1/2 to 3 1/2 after taking a 2pt lead in the morning foursomes.
P and K shared the singles honours with wins vy Eilidh Watson, Fiona Ramsay and Steph Crolla.
Shire's singles winners were the new Scottish schoolgirls champion Shannon McWilliam, Tegan Seivwright and Sheena Wood.
In the other match Angus drew 4 1/2-4 1/2 with Northern Counties. They shared the morning foursomes and also the afternoon singles.
Singles winners for Angus were Ann Ramsay, Heather Munro and Katie Reid. Northern Counties' afternoon winners were: Cara Thompson, Mary Smith and Jenny Milne.

Laura Walker and Nicola Robertson lost to Sammy Leslie and  Shannon McWilliam  4 and 3
Emily Ogilvy and Jen Saxton lost to Sheena Wood and Rachel Polson 4 and 3.

Steph Crolla and Eilidh Watson halved with Sara Mathieson and Donna Pocock.
