SUSAN ARBUCKLE LOSES TO ABERDEEN LADIES PLAYER IN FINAL

SHEENA WOOD WINS 

NORTHERN VETS 

TITLE AT BALLATER

Sheena Wood (Aberdeen Ladies) won the Scottish Veteran Ladies Golf Association's Northern Division championship and open meeting at Ballater Golf Club this week.

She was joint leading qualifier with defending champion Susan Arbuckle (Ladies Panmure Barry) on the 75 mark. They also met in the match-play final with Sheena winning the title by 7 and 6 (finalists are pictured above, Sheena on the left).

Agnes Freeman (Ladies Panmure Barry) won the Silver Division handicap championship. She beat clubmate Jen Petrie 5 and 4 in the final.
The Bronze handicap championship was won by Sheila Fyfe (Murcar Links) who beat Penny Scott (Inverurie) 5 and 3 in the final.
