SUSAN WOOD WINS MORISON CUP

FOR SEVENTH YEAR IN A ROW

Drumpellier's Susan Wood, Drumpellier has won the Lanarkshire 36-hole  women's competition for the Morison Cup for the seventh year in a row, making it nine times all together.

 Her three-over-par total of 145 (72-73) at Colville Park Golf Club was three better than last year.

Runner-up and handicap winner for the second year in a row was Kirsten Brown (Strathaven).

Another Strathaven player, Ellie Bryce, won the junior championship scratch cup with a four-over-par 75 while Emily Glencorse (Millport), with a net 68, was the winner of the handicap salver.
