SCOTS GIRLS BEAT DANES IN FLIGHT B

Scotland beat Denmark 3 1/2-1 1/2 in their opening tie in Flight B of the European girls' team championship at Skalika, Slovakia today.
The Scots swinners weere Heather Munro (1 hole), Hazel McGarvie (2 holes) and the foursomes partnership of Nicola Callander and Shannon McWilliam (2 holes).
Lauren Whyte halved her match while Clara Young went down by 4 and 2.
