POPULAR FIVE-DAY WOMEN'S OPEN TOURNAMENT AT BANFF

SUSAN McGRENAGHAN BIDDING FOR

HAT-TRICK AT DUFF HOUSE ROYAL

The ever popular Duff House Royal five-day women's open tournament is taking place this week. 
This is the 30th staging of the competition at the Banff venue, and again there is a full compliment of 189 competitors. 
Top scratch qualifier for the match-play stages was Susan McGrenaghan (Mount Ellen). Best net score (who qualified for scratch matchplay) came from  Pamela Topping of Duff House Royal.
 Top low handicap qualifier was Jean Cosgrove of Bathgate and top high handicap qualifier was Hilda Martin of  Brucefields. 
Susan McGrenaghan is going for a hat-trick of titles having been victorious in 2012 and 2013.

Scratch quarter finals take place on Thursday morning are as follows:
Susan McGrenaghan (Mount Ellen) v Sheila Sergenson (East Kilbride)
Louise Myles (Duff House Royal) v Linda Dyball (Pitreavie)
Mhairi Hall (Bathgate) v Anne Chree (Ladies Panmure Monifieth)
Jane Lees (Cathkin Braes) vs Susan Rennie (Turnhouse)
