SLGA SEEK TWO REPLACEMENTS FOR KEVIN CRAGGS

NEW COACHING OPPORTUNITIES AS LEAD COACH (WOMENS) AND LEAD COACH (GIRLS)

In conjunction with the internal restructure of the Scottish Golf Academy and following on from the recent resignation of the Scottish Ladies' Golfing Association National Coach, an exciting opportunity now exists within Womens' Golf for two Lead Coach posts (Womens and Girls).
The Lead Coaches will be responsible for overseeing and inputting to squad coaching and training programmes, monitoring and evaluating players progression, delivering a national programme of support to identified players and provision of key event support for identified Ladies/Girls competitions, including European Team Championships and Home Internationals.
The role will be home based working nationally out of designed facilities. Contracts will be issued on a renewable 1 year basis.
Applicants should be qualified to the new PGA UKCC Level 3 and/or have an MSc/PG Diploma in Sports Coaching and have a proven track record in developing golfers to national representative level. 
You will need excellent administrative and organisational skills and be flexible to work evenings, weekends and overnights both within and outwith Scotland. 
You will ideally be based in Scotland and able to commit to a minimum of 30 days to the programme for a related inclusive remuneration of c£8,000-£10,000 with payments made monthly against production of invoice for work completed in conjunction with a pre-agreed style progress report.
Additional days are anticipated but will be subject to confirmation in conjunction with the 2015 National Programme for Womens and Girls squads.
