ROYAL DORNOCH PAIR WIN NORTHERN

COUNTIES FOURSOMES AT SPEY BAY

The Northern Counties Foursomes and Commonwealth Spoons qualifier was played on Sunday  at Spey Bay Golf Club.
A strong field of 28 couples competed for the trophy and the honour of representing Northern Counties at the Commonwealth Spoons Scottish Finals at Ladybank in September.
The winners were:

1st Handicap and county foursomes winners - Claire Riddell and Alison Bartlett (Royal Dornoch)  (3) 69

2nd handicap - Liz Ballantine and Jeanette Cowe (Elgin) (21.5) 69.5

3rd handicap - Elizabeth Coghill and Denise McBride (Royal Dornoch) (13) 70

1st scratch - Lynne Fraser (Fortrose and Rosemarkie) and Kerri Harper (Inverness) 77.
