CATHY MAKES IT TOUGH FOR HERSELF

IN BLAIRGOWRIE SECOND ROUND

Cathy Panton-Lewis (Berkshire) gave herself an uphill task in tomorrow's (Friday) second and final round of the Glenmuir WPGA championship over the Lansdowne course, Blairgowrie by dropping three late shots in a first-round 76.
The Scot, pictured, double-bogeyed the 15th and bogeyed the 16th in a round in which she had only one birdie, a 2 at the short ninth.
She is in third place in the small field, three shots behind leader Suzanne Dickson (Thorpe Wood) and two behind second-placed Alison Gray (Ormskirk).
