IRISH GIRLS INTER-PROVINCIAL MATCHES

Donaghadee Golf Club
20th – 21st August 2014

LEICSTER WIN TITLE FOR FIRST TIME SINCE 2003

Leinster won the Girls Interprovincial title at Donaghadee golf club for the first time since 2003 by defeating Ulster who were defending champions having won the title 8 times in the last 9 years on the final day.
Leinster were determined from the outset and in the revised format of 2 foursomes and 4 singles in each round, team manager Mary Culliton's strategy of maintaining the same foursomes pairings paid off with both pairs remaining unbeaten over the 3 rounds.
