HAZLEHEAD'S JASMINE WINS NORTH OF
SCOTLAND GIRLS' CHAMPIONSHIP
Hazlehead's 14-year-old Jasmine Mackintosh, pictured, won the North of Scotland Under-18 girls championship at Montrose Links today (Sunday) - but it was a close-run thing.
Jasmine and Molly Stewart (Murcar Links) both returned scratch 76s.
Mackintosh won the title and the trophy with the better inward half.
They finished two shots clear of third-placed Claire Robertson (Carnoustie Ladies).
Sarah Black (Deeside) won the handicap award with a net 72 off eight, a shot ahead of Alyth's Megan Thom, who plays off 24.
