ONSJO LADIES OPEN

SALLY WATSON FINISHES SIXTH

IN SWEDEN TO EARN 1,043 euros

Edinburgh-born Sally Watson finished sixth with a level par aggregate of 216 for the 54-hole Onsjo Ladies Open tournament in Sweden today (Sat).
Fife-based Sally shot 73, 71 and 72 to earn 1,043 euros. She finished six shots between two Swedish players who play-off for first place after tieing on six-under 210.
Lina Boqvist (72-69-69) birdied the first extra hole to win the 4,823 euros first prize, beating Lynn Carlsson (69-73-68) who received second prize of 3,323 euros.
Alford's Laura Murray finished joint 15th on 220 with scores of 74, 75 and 71. The Paul Lawrie Golf Centre player earned 576 euros.
The other two Scots who survived the second-round cut-off tied for 37th place on 227 - Jane Turner (Craigielaw) (76-77-74) and Glasgow's Gemma Webster (74-78-75). They each received 326 euros.
