SHEENA WOOD PIPS CLAIRE PROUSE FOR 

CITY OF ABERDEEN WOMEN'S TITLE

Subject to confirmation by the organisers,  Sheena Wood (Aberdeen Ladies), pictured above, won the City of Aberdeen women's golf championship - a new format/title for the old Quaich events - at Hazlehead today.
Many times Hazlehead women's club champion, Sheena had rounds of 78 and 70 for a total of 148.
Runner-up was Hazlehead member Claire Prouse with scores of 74 and 75 for 149
Young Jasmine Mackintosh (Hazlehead) finished third on 156 (75-81).
