The first round of the Onsjö Ladies Open in Sweden was delayed after heavy rainfall during the morning, which made the golf course unplayable. Play resumed at 2.40pm with the afternoon wave commencing at 4.10pm, after a delay of 3hr 50min.
Sweden's Lynn Carlsson took the early lead, scoring an opening 69, 3 under par with Spain's Maria Beautell two shots further back at one under, along with Emma Nilsson from Sweden, who still has three holes to complete in her opening round.
The first round will resume at 7.30am Friday with 36 players still to complete their opening rounds.
