SCOTS GO INTO SECOND GROUP
UNDER MODIFIED FORMAT
Scotland's aggregate was the seventh best after the only stroke-play qualifying round possible because the waterlogged course was unplayable until after Wednesday in the European senior women's amateur championship at Gut Altentann near Salzburg, Austria.
The course was shortened to 4,037metres with seven par-3s after the unplayable parts were taken out of the game.
With only two days left for the match-play, it was decided to have groups of four.
The championship flight consists of:
346 France
360 England
368 Sweden
373 Ireland.
Flight B comprises:
379 Germany
384 Belgium, Scotland
385 Italy.
So Scotland will play Belgium in the Flight B semi-final on Friday.
