HEATHER MUNRO JOINT FOURTH ON
US COLLEGE GOLF DEBUT
Heather Munro from Monifieth, a freshman student at Elon University, North Carolina, has finished a creditable tied fourth of 70 players in her tournament debut appearance on the US women's college golf circuit.
Heather's rounds were 73, 67 and 79 for a total of three-over-par 219. Her five-under-par second round was the lowest score of the tournament.
Heather, pictured, finished three shots behind the winner, team-mate Kelsey Badmaev (75-70-71 for 216).
Their efforts helped Elon University win the team title by 21 strokes.
