MORE WIN AWAY FROM  TRIP TO SPAIN 

 Murcar Links are through to the last eight of a nationwide women's inter-club match-play golf tournament.

The line-up of Carol Wilson, Kathleen Thomson, Susan Murray, Michelle Black and Sara Mathieson beat Glenbervie 3 1/2-1 1 1/2 at Murcar in Round 8. 

If they win their Round 9 tie away to South Moor Golf Club at Stanley, County Durham, they will head to El Rompido, Spain for the semi-finals/final in November.

Murcar Links are the only Scottish club in the last eight. Also through are Cosby, Farnham, Leatherhead, Newbury and Crookham, Sale and Whittington.

Murcar reached the last eight in 2008 but lost their quarter-final tie then.
