SCOTLAND LYING 41st IN FIELD OF 50 AT WORLD TEAM CH/SHIP

CANADA LEAD BY TWO FROM SOUTH

KOREA WITH JAPAN THIRD 

Scotland, playing as a team of two since Eilidh Briggs withdrew with an injured back, are lying 41st in a field of 50 countries at the women's world amateur team championship for the Espirito Santo Trophy in Japan.
Gemma Dryburgh and Gabrielle Macdonald have no margin for error - unlike the rest of the teams of three who can discount one score daily - both their scores have to count. 
Dryburgh had a 73 and Scottish champion Macdonald a 79 in the third round, giving Scotland a 54-hole tally of 457.
Canada lead with 409 (23 under par) with South Korea (411) second and Japan (415 third).
England, in joint 10th place with 420 are the best of the GB and I teams.
Wales are on 435 and Ireland 437.
