SOUTHERNESS PLAYER WINS AT POWFOOT

JORDANA WINS SOUTH DIVISION TITLE

 Jordana Graham (Southerness) won the South Division women's championship at Powfoot GC on the Solway Firth coastline on Sunday.

She had a gross 73, four shots ahead of runner-up home-course player Mirren Fraser.

Clare McGinley (Thornhill) won the leading handicap prize with a net 74 off  12.

Runner-up was Marjorie Pringle (Powfoot) with a net 76 off 20 (better inward half). Pearl Beattie (Thornhill) also had a net 76.
