LEON FRICKER MAKES TOP 10 AT RUTGERS INVITATIONAL
Leon Fricker, pictured, from Ivybridge, Devon, a third-year student at Bethune-Cookman College, finished eighth in a field of 96 players at the Rutgers' Men's Invitational tournament over the Rutgers University course of 6,347yd (par 71).
Steve Burak (Fairfield) was the winner with a seven-under-par total of 206 (68-66-72).
Fricker shot 66-70-76 for 212.
Wofford College (859) won the team, finishing only one stroke ahead of hosts Rutgers. Bethune-Cookman (874) finished seventh of 18 teams.
