MURCAR LINKS LOSE NARROWLY IN

ROUND 9 OF NATIONWIDE TOURNEY

Murcar Links Golf Club's women's team have lost in the ninth round of a national match-play tournament.

With the winners bound for Spain to contest the semi-finals and finals, Murcar travelled at the weekend to South Moor Golf Club, Stanley in County Durham where they lost 3-2 over a lushy and hilly course, unlike their flattish home links.
