ENGLAND BOYS' and GIRLS' UNDER-18      TRAINING SQUADS NAMED Leading teenagers Bradley Moore, Rhys Nevin-Wharton and Hollie Muse have been named in the England Golf U18 training squads for 2014/15. The girls’ squad is: Emma Allen (Meon Valley, Hampshire), Annabel Bailey (Kirby Muxloe, Leicestershire), Samantha Fuller (Roehampton, Surrey), Eloise Healey (West Lancashire), Sophie Lamb (Clitheroe, Lancashire) and Hollie Muse (West Lancashire). The boys’ squad is: Toby Briggs (Dunston Hall, Norfolk), Oliver Clarke (Formby, Lancashire), George Gardner (Castle Royle, BB and O), Harry Hall (West Cornwall), Matty Lamb (Hexham, Northumberland), Jamie Li (Bath, Somerset), Maxwell Martin (Ladbrook Park, Warwickshire), Bradley Moore (Kedleston Park, Derbyshire), Rhys Nevin-Wharton (Sandiway, Cheshire), Marco Penge (Golf at Goodwood, Sussex) and Billy Spooner (Boston, Lincolnshire). Of the girls’ squad, Hollie Muse, at the age of 14, is a full England international, having helped to win both the girls’ and ladies’ Home Internationals this season. The winning girls’ team also included Emma Allen, who helped Hampshire win Women’s County Finals, and Sophie Lamb, who won the Fairhaven Trophy for the second successive time. Sammy Fuller was a member of the successful 2013 team at Girls’ Home Internationals and has also represented GB and I, while Eloise Healey has represented England at U16 level. Annabel Bailey was runner-up at the English girls’ championship and made the cut in the recent WPGA Challenge on the LET Access Series. Of the 11-strong boys’ squad, Hall, Lamb, Li, Moore and Penge are boy internationals. Eight of the players have been capped at U16 level, with Briggs, Clarke and Spooner among those who played in the recent successful series against the other home countries. Nevin-Wharton was fourth in this year’s Sir Henry Cooper Junior Masters and runner-up in the Daily Telegraph Junior Championship in Portugal. Penge helped GB and I win the Jacques Leglise Trophy against Europe in Sweden and has won the Fairhaven Trophy for the past two years. Martin took fourth place in the Fairhaven Trophy.  Gardner was third in the English boys’ U18 championship, while Hall won the Welsh Youths Championship and helped Cornwall secure their first ever English county championship.
